The Director of Golf David Ross warmly welcomes you to The GolfMasters Academy at Golf & Country Club Dolina Kardinala

David Ross originally from Scotland started playing golf near Edinburgh at the age of 10. He turned professional at 23 to teach golf and since then has worked in the UK, USA, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, Uruguay, Peru and Colombia and even the Falklands Islands. He was the Chilean National Coach from 1997-1999 and has coached some of the best South American players and some of them have obtained College golf scholarships in the US or are playing on the US Tours. Apart from being a Golf Professional, David is also a graduate of The European Institute of Golf Course Architects.

David is now in Croatia to help develop golf and produce new golfers with The GolfMasters Academy at Dolina Kardinala Golf Club.

He feels that Croatia has great potential for the future and feels that within a few years Croatia could make an impact on International golf with the young talent available today.

The Golf Masters Academy at Dolina Kardinala GC offers a number of instructional programs designed to help golfers of all levels and aspirations. The club has an 18-hole championship course, 50 bay driving range, a short game practice green and bunker and a 9-hole par 3 family course.

David will be happy to meet and talk about which program is best for you.

The GolfMasters Beginners Academy

Designed for the complete Beginner. This complete program includes 20 hours of comprehensive instruction and 4 hours on the History and Rules and Etiquette. The Program is conducted over six days and divided into Part 1 and Part 2 with four hours of instruction daily.

On the final day of Part 2 you will play 18 holes at Dolina Kardinala Golf course and will be presented with your official handicap certificate.

This academy is for a maximum of 8 people.

The 5-Day Academy
• Our most extensive session includes five days of instruction with a 4:1 ratio focusing on the Basic Fundamentals of the golf swing, The Short Game, The Long Game and Course Strategy and specialty shots. Each day consists of four hours of instruction, video analysis and 18 holes daily to put into practice what you have learned.
Recommended for those who want an intensive and all round experience.

The 3-Day Academy
• Our abbreviated session consists of three days of instruction focusing on the Basic Fundamentals of the golf swing, The Short Game, The Long Game and Course Strategy. Each day consists of four hours of instruction with a 4:1 ratio, video analysis and 18 holes.

The 2-Day Academy
• This program allows you the opportunity to focus on Basic Fundamentals of the golf swing, The Short Game, The Long Game and Course Strategy and over the course of two days. Each day consists of four hours of instruction with a 4:1 ratio, video analysis and 18 holes. Recommended for players wanting an intense but fun academy.

1/2-Day Academy
• This program allows you to select your area of focus. Choose from Basic Fundamentals of the golf swing, The Short Game, The Long Game and Course Strategy. Program consists of 4 hours of instruction with a 4:1 ratio, video analysis and 18 holes.

The Short Game Academy
• This Academy is probably one of the most important and gives you the possibility to lower your handicap immediately through a thorough understanding of how to play different shots but more importantly when to play them.
The short game is an essential part of golf and some say that it is 60% of the game. This Academy includes instruction on: Pitching, Chipping, Bunker Play, Putting and specialty shots.

This Academy lasts one day for groups of 4 and includes 18 holes on the par 3 course.

The Junior Golf Academy
• The GolfMasters Academy understands the importance of juniors and has a program dedicated to the talented golfers of the future.

We have summer camp programs and also a travelling golf academy, which can be set up at local schools and sports fields.

The Family Academy
• This popular academy is where family members can learn golf together. This is a great way to learn golf in a “Family” environment.

Includes 18 holes on the family course.

The Golf & English Academy
• This is a summer-based Academy where qualified native English speakers teach English.

English lessons are in the morning and Golf is taught in the Afternoon or vice versa. This is a great way to learn English and Golf at the same time!!

Individual Lessons
• 1 Hour lessons are available for those who want the more personal touch.

The GolfMasters Pro Challenge
Play an Instructional, challenging and entertaining 9 or 18 holes with a Golf Masters Instructor. A great way to learn course strategy.

Corporate Golf Programs
• The GolfMasters Academy has developed numerous ways to entertain and combine golf and business strategies.

Corporate Golf programs are an excellent way of building those special business relationships. Other programs available are: Corporate golf trips, golf clinics and charity golf events. No matter what your objective The GolfMasters Academy have Corporate Golf programs that will deal with your company’s objectives and budget.
